Epsilon Zeta Chapter
Epsilon Zeta Chapter was organized in 1923 as an outgrowth of the Beta Chapter on Morris Brown College Campus. The Epsilon Zeta Chapter which is the fifth graduate chapter in Zetadom was organized by Sorors Venitia Nichols, Jean Childs, Grace Bradley, Lois Divine, and Alice D. Cary.
Epsilon Zeta Chapter has participated in numerous activities on the national, state, and local levels including having our National Program, Stork’s Nest, developed by Soror Evelyn Brown in 1971. As well as Finer Womanhood Week being introduced by Soror Jean Childs.
The Chapter has been a dynamic force since the turn of the 20th Century and has provided immense leadership while establishing a solid place in African-American and Women’s history. Currently, Epsilon Zeta serves as the Graduate Advisor to the “Lovely” Lambda Nu Chapter, Georgia State University, founded on December 16, 1986.
